Family Reconciliation Center was honored to participate in the recent Reentry Resource Fair at the Debra Johnson Rehabilitation Center, an event designed to support women preparing for reentry and help them reconnect with resources for rebuilding their lives.

"Manning the FRC booth, I had the privilege of engaging in warm conversations with many women—some of whom had family members who had stayed at Family Reconciliation Center while others were discovering our guest house and mission for the first time," said Melissa Halsell, FRC board member. "Every woman I spoke with reminded me that when we meet people where they are - with kindness and care - we restore hope."

The DJRC staff was most welcoming, and their interest in sharing about Family Reconciliation Center was evident throughout the day.

FRC extends its warmest welcome to newly-named Warden Taylor Kapusta and looks forward to working together to continue strengthening the bridge between families and incarcerated loved ones.

Special appreciation goes to Amanda Kelley for her exceptional coordination of the event. Her leadership helped create a space that was informative, hopeful, and inspiring.
