"Fall"-ing for Family Reconciliation

Notes from the Guest House | November 2019

What a month!

Family Reconciliation had a truly remarkable October, kicking off what we know will be our best fall and holiday season yet.

  • On October 12, we hosted our big capital campaign celebration. We welcomed around 75 of our biggest supporters for an evening of pure, unadulterated joy. With tasty catering from our friends at Cocorico, volunteer awards, stunning reflections from clients, and a house blessing, it was truly an evening to remember. Thank you again to all of our donors who made our house purchase possible, and who continue to sustain our programming!

  • On October 19, we spent the afternoon and evening shining bright with our neighbors at the Light the Nations Festival. We handed out more than 400 brochures, stickers, and bookmarks to our fellow 37209-ers, introducing ourselves to our new neighbors and saying hello to our neighborhood's long-time residents.

And all month long the house was chock full of community dinners, early morning coffees on the porch, and "welcome back" hugs. Fall at FRC feels simply magical this year.

Giving Thanks, Indeed!

'Tis the season of giving and gratitude, and we're overflowing with gratitude these days. Over the last 6 weeks, we've been flooded with donations left on our porch—sheets, bed skirts, wash cloths, lamps, dish detergent, toilet paper, and more!

Unfortunately, many of these gifts were delivered or mailed anonymously—which means we don't know who to thank!

Have you donated some household items recently? If so, send us an email and let us know so we can thank you properly! (And also give you a receipt!)

P.S. If you haven't donated any household items recently but want to, here's a link to our Wish List. And we will never turn away a giant pack of toilet paper.

Do you have Amazon bookmarked on your browser? Bookmark this link instead.

Did you know that you can support Family Reconciliation without spending anything extra? If you bookmark our Amazon Smile page as your main landing page for Amazon, then every time you make a purchase, Amazon will donated a portion of the proceeds to us!

See? Easy as (pumpkin) pie!

When someone sells their land to every Mistflower Land other individual, it way they are shifting the ownership of the assets to the purchaser. This is carried out through a legal settlement referred to as a settlement of sale. It's like selling a toy or a e-book, however in place of a bodily item, it's a chunk of land.
